This 5-year warranty is comprised of a 2-year legal warranty followed by a 3-year commercial warranty. This warranty applies only to products manufactured by Dixneuf. Dixneuf reserves the right to exclude certain products from the scope of the commercial warranty.
For the range of log holders, pellet storage containers, and fire screens:
The commercial warranty covers only the steel parts of the product (excluding screws), excluding damage from impacts or scratches, under normal indoor use only.
For fireplace tool sets, maintenance accessories, andirons, and fire guards:
The commercial warranty covers only the steel parts of the product (excluding screws), excluding damage from impacts or scratches, under normal indoor use only.
As these products may be in whole or in part in direct contact with fire, the warranty excludes standard wear and tear of accessories such as degradation of the surface coating or degradation due to a forging effect.
As these products may be partially or entirely in direct contact with fire, the guarantee excludes normal wear and tear of the accessories, such as deterioration of the surface coating or damage caused by forging effects. The consumer must present proof of purchase (receipt, invoice), along with the complete defective product, at the store where the item was purchased. The store will then contact the Dixneuf sales representative and quality department to assess the reported issue and decide whether or not the guarantee is applicable.
If the claim is accepted by Dixneuf, the company will either repair the product or provide a standard replacement through the store, depending on technical and economic feasibility. Dixneuf alone will decide which option to pursue.
If the model is no longer available, Dixneuf reserves the right to supply a product with the same functionality but with a different aesthetic and similar value.
